Serve as a community catalyst in acquiring and planting hundreds of trees along the major roadways of the Dr. Phillips area.
Sponsor planting of several hundred trees in the grass medians of the major roadways within Dr. Phillips,using no tax funding. The roadways are expected to include Dr. Phillips Boulevard,Sand Lake Road,Apopka-Vineland Road,and Turkey Lake Road. Seek donations to allay the purchase expenses,and coordinate with homeowners’associations along the affected roadways to provide the labor for planting.
